Just copying the AnyDesk.app to Applications doesn't include the helper files and scripts so it remains stuck in "portable" mode (no unattended access). The "install" link not only installs the app in /Applications, but also appears to install a helper tool in /Library and various prefs (including some that can be customized to limit what the client can do on their end and a password for setting up unattended remote access. Within that are two links, one to actually install the app and one to give the app Security privileges (to allow the remote control of mouse and keyboard). Within is the AnyDesk app that you can launch and it gives you the limited "portable" version. On macOS one downloads the AnyDesk.dmg image and then mounts it. Hey all-trying to deploy Anydesk to a mid-sized client (all Macs) and bumping up against the oddball install process.
